Kinich is the latest Dendro Main DPS 5-star character introduced in version 5.0 of Genshin Impact. This Claymore user boasts a distinctive fighting style, making him highly effective for exploring the new Natlan region. His high damage potential is further amplified by certain constellations that significantly increase his damage output.
Many Travelers are curious about the best constellations for Kinich to enhance battle performance. This article reviews Kinich’s constellations and suggests the top options players should aim for when summoning him.
Genshin Impact: Best Kinich Constellations
For Kinich, the most valuable constellations are C2, C1, and C6. Below is an overview of these top constellations, as well as the remaining ones ranked by their impact on his damage output.
1) Constellation 2: Tiger Beetle’s Palm
When Kinich’s Elemental Skill hits an enemy, their Dendro RES is reduced by 30% for 6 seconds. Additionally, the first Scalespiker Cannon he fires after entering Nightsoul’s Blessing has increased AoE, with damage boosted by 100%.
This constellation is among his best. Since a majority of Kinich’s damage arises from his Elemental Skill, his C2 lowers the Dendro Resistance of opponents by 30% for 6 seconds upon hit.
Moreover, it enhances the AoE and damage of his first Scalespiker Cannon by 100%. These buffs combined can allow him to one-shot nearly any overworld boss in Genshin Impact.
2) Constellation 1: Parrot’s Beak
After landing from Canopy Hunter: Riding High’s mid-air swing, Kinich gains a 30% boost to Movement SPD for 6 seconds. Additionally, Scalespiker Cannon’s CRIT DMG is increased by 100%.
Kinich’s first constellation enhances his movement speed by 30% for 6 seconds upon casting his Elemental Skill. This increased mobility allows him to quickly maneuver around enemies and reach their blind spots, earning more Nightsoul Points to utilize his Scalespiker Cannon frequently. Furthermore, this constellation boosts his Scalespiker Cannon’s Crit DMG by 100%.
3) Constellation 6: Auspicious Beasts Shape
After Scalespiker Cannon hits an opponent, it bounces between opponents once, dealing 700% of Kinich’s ATK as Dendro DMG. If the bouncing attack triggers the buffs from the Passive Talent “Flame Spirit Pact”or the Constellation “Tiger Beetle’s Palm,”it gains those buffs as well.
As is common with exclusive 5-star characters, Kinich’s sixth constellation elevates him to a formidable main DPS unit. It enables Scalespiker Cannon to bounce between enemies, dealing 700% of his attack as Dendro damage with each hit. This is effective against both single-target foes and bosses.
If the buffs from Kinich’s C2 or Passive Talent “Flame Spirit Pact”are activated, the bouncing attack inherits those buffs when hitting enemies. This constellation greatly enhances his Elemental Skill damage, allowing him to efficiently defeat most enemies and even level 100 bosses in Genshin Impact.
4) Constellation 3: Protosuchian’s Claw
Increases the level of Canopy Hunter: Riding High by 3.
Kinich’s C3 boosts his Elemental Skill by three levels, enhancing his damage output significantly as his primary damage source is derived from this skill.
5) Constellation 4: Hummingbird’s Feather
When in Nightsoul’s Blessing, Kinich restores 5 Energy after using Loop Shots or firing Scalespiker Cannon, with a cooldown of 2.8 seconds. Additionally, Hail to the Almighty Dragonlord deals 70% more damage.
Kinich’s fourth constellation boosts his Elemental Burst’s damage by 70% while also granting him 5 Energy when using normal attacks in his Elemental Skill state or firing his Scalespiker Cannon. Although this constellation enhances his Elemental Burst, it might be less valuable since most of Kinich’s damage originates from his Elemental Skill.
6) Constellation 5: Howler Monkey’s Tail
Increases the level of Hail to the Almighty Dragonlord by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
Kinich’s fifth constellation elevates his Elemental Burst by three levels, further enhancing its damage potential after acquiring his C4.
