Trending Topic “#PLEDIS PROTECT JUN” on X: Fans Express Anger Over Security Concerns as Stalkers Breach SEVENTEEN Member’s Privacy

Supporters of SEVENTEEN’s JUN are urging PLEDIS Entertainment, his management agency, to enhance security measures for the idol after a troubling incident occurred at an airport, where some individuals reportedly invaded his personal space. The Chinese member of the K-pop boy band has been traveling internationally due to a demanding schedule.

On September 18, images of JUN from the seating area circulated widely on social media. These photos appeared to be taken by fans who followed him through the airport. One image even depicted a group of alleged stalkers directly in front of JUN.

Many netizens discovered an X account that was sharing images of the singer at the airport, expressing their frustration towards PLEDIS Entertainment for what they perceived as inadequate security. This incident sparked significant concern among the SEVENTEEN fanbase, who have called on the agency to implement stricter safety measures for JUN while he travels, trending the phrase #PLEDIS_PROTECT_JUN on X.

“Jun is NOT anybody! HE IS A PART OF SEVENTEEN!! He is YOUR ARTIST that you should be protecting!! Providing a body guard for him won’t push you into bankruptcy!! DO YOUR JOB AND PROTECT YOUR ARTIST,”a fan stated.

“THIS IS SO DISGUSTING DO YOU KNOW THAT BECAUSE YOU ARE FOLLOWING HIM YOU DID NOT KNOW THE BOUNDARIES HUH?!?! PLEDIS PROTECT JUNHUI AT ALL COST,”a user remarked.

Additional fans voiced their worries regarding JUN’s security.

“He just looks so helpless with his hands like that. like he didn’t want to be bothered or get his picture taken but at the same time, he can’t lash out to fans. why are there no guards stopping them?,”a fan commented.

“There are really people who cannot understand the word ‘BOUNDARIES.’ So annoying and disrespectful!,”another fan stated.

“I feel so bad for Jun; he’s experiencing this much invasion every time and PLEDIS AINT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS,”a user wrote.

Fans continued to express their concerns for the artist and condemned the actions of sasaengs.

“He isn’t a god damn zoo animal to be ogled at. He is a human being and deserves more protection. For crying out loud, PLEDIS do something,”a fan emphasized.

“This is not something that a sane and normal person would do. Y’all are sick in the head for doing this to Jun,”a user claimed.

“I don’t get this pic at first glance, but now I’m feeling sick. Poor Moon Junhui, what were these ‘fans’ thinking??? And why is he alone? Where’s the security??!!! Freaking hell, I’m flabbergasted,”a fan remarked.

Previous Incidents of Fans Mobbing SEVENTEEN’s JUN at Airports

This isn’t the first time that SEVENTEEN’s JUN has been overwhelmed by fans. In September 2023, while traveling to China for a schedule, he encountered a large crowd of fans rushing towards him as he exited the airport, severely limiting his ability to move.

Earlier, in February 2024, JUN arrived at Incheon International Airport for another scheduling commitment in China, where he was again surrounded by fans eager to see him off. Clips captured by reporters showed fans pushing one another to get closer to the star, though he managed to navigate the crowd with his manager’s assistance.

In other updates, JUN will not be participating in the upcoming world tour and comeback promotions of SEVENTEEN due to his solo commitments in China.
