Before you dive into constructing this piano in Minecraft, gather the necessary materials. You can customize your design with different resources based on your preferences, but the following items should suffice for creating the piano:

18 building blocks
1 jukebox
1 lectern
1 book & quill
3 loom blocks
10 trapdoors
2 doors
1 slab

It’s recommended to have your doors, trapdoors, slabs, and at least four of your building blocks made from the same type of wood. Mixing wood types can detract from the overall aesthetic of your piano.

Follow these steps to build your Minecraft piano:

Construct a wall that is three blocks high and five blocks wide, and place the jukebox in the center.
Add two vertical columns, each two blocks tall, flush against the sides of the jukebox.
Position the lectern block between the two columns directly beneath the jukebox.
Place the book & quill on the lectern.
Arrange the three loom blocks in a horizontal line in front of the lectern from left to right.
Install trapdoors on the ground in front of and on the sides of the loom blocks (but leave the corners empty) and activate them to be flush with the loom.
Attach two trapdoors atop the left and right loom blocks so they are flush with the columns.
Lay down the final three trapdoors across the top of the piano and place a slab beneath the middle trapdoor.
To finish, position doors on the sides of the two columns so they align flush, completing the piano’s structure. A practical way to do this is to stand close to the columns, looking down while positioned away, and place the doors directly under your feet.
