Upon its launch, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp featured 40 villager characters, but over the years, the game has expanded to include a staggering 422 villagers from various titles within the franchise. While some estimates still reference the outdated number of 413, a thorough count reveals the current total stands at 422.

At the outset of the game, players can accommodate eight villagers at their campsite. Upon reaching level 20, this capacity doubles to 16 villagers. To invite these numerous characters to your campsite, players need to satisfy specific criteria related to each villager’s unique requirements.

Bringing new villagers to the campsite starts with finding them. Many villagers are scattered across various islands, but which ones appear is determined randomly. Some villagers only become accessible as players advance to specific levels within the game.

Additionally, certain villager maps require unlocking through expeditions with Gulliver, which involves selecting appropriate souvenirs that correspond to each villager’s map. After unlocking a map, players must progress with Blathers to secure their invitation.

Once a villager is located, there are friendship milestones to meet: each villager must reach a friendship level of three before they can join your campsite. Players can enhance friendship levels by completing requests, engaging in conversations, and gifting items. Moreover, each villager has specific furniture preferences that must be met for them to consider visiting.

It’s unnecessary to display furniture in the campsite for a villager to visit; simply owning the required items suffices. Luckily, the new game mechanics in AC: Pocket Camp Complete streamline the inviting process: players have the ability to automatically favor all necessary furniture for crafting. Once a villager achieves level three friendship, they can be invited simply by gathering the needed furniture, prompting a notification to call them to the campsite.

Switching villagers during gameplay is a breeze in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. Once a villager has been officially invited, they can be easily substituted. To change the villagers currently at the campsite, follow these quick steps:

  1. Tap the cat icon in the upper left corner, located beneath the photo button.
  2. If the campsite is full, select a villager you wish to replace.
  3. Click on the + symbol.
  4. Choose the villager you want to invite to the campsite.

Players also have the option to randomize which villagers appear each day by enabling the “Daily Change”feature on the selection screen. Additionally, if there are villagers you’d prefer to exclude from this daily rotation, you can use the “Guest Lock”feature to prevent them from visiting.

This simple process allows for an engaging villager rotation at the campsite. Notably, players can manage a separate group of up to eight villagers within their cabin, a feature unlocked at level 15. This allows for greater customization and personalized experiences in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete.
