In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, crafting furniture and clothing often requires assistance from Cyrus and Reese or purchases from the Market Place. To access unique and exclusive items, engaging with Fortune Cookies is a must. Each cookie not only contains a fortune but also determines the value of the furniture or clothing you’ll receive based on its quality. Should you find an item that piques your interest, you can take a chance, provided you have Bells and Leaf Tokens available.
Where to Find Fortune Cookies in Pocket Camp Complete
Regular Fortune Cookies vs. Event Fortune Cookies
To locate the Fortune Cookie Shop, open your map in Pocket Camp Complete, where you’ll find an icon featuring Timmy and Tom Nook. Click on this icon or head to the Market Place and speak with Tommy to access the shop. At this shop, you’ll encounter three varieties of fortune cookies, each available for 500 Bells, although only two types are featured daily:
- Tommys’s Fortune Cookie
- Timmy’s Fortune Cookie
- * Clothing Fortune Cookie
* Note that you can acquire Clothing Fortune Cookies by finishing requests from the animals.
The Tommy and Timmy’s fortune cookies will reward you with furniture items such as a Shogi Piece or a Red Boston Bag, while the Clothing Fortune Cookie provides a random clothing item typically available for crafting. If your budget allows, these cookies are worth purchasing.
Event/Special Cookies
Event Cookies are tied to specific in-game events and change regularly; there are often over a dozen Event Cookie banners available. Each banner features a unique theme, such as Tutu’s cookie-bear cookie or Marcie’s sugared cookie. When selecting a banner, you have the option to spend 5 Leaf Tokens for one Event Cookie or 25 Leaf Tokens for five Event Cookies, along with earning stamps for your Stamp Card (5 stamps for one cookie, 6 for five cookies).
Eclectically designed furniture and clothing items collected from these Event Cookies are exclusive and cannot be found elsewhere, making it prudent to opt for the 5-pack if you desire a specific item. Remember that Event Cookies must be purchased with Leaf Tokens, not Bells.
Complete Cookie Catalog
At the bottom of the Event Cookies banner, there exists a Complete Cookie Catalog option. Clicking this leads you to a new screen where you can utilize Complete Tickets to exchange for one Special Fortune Cookie. These Complete Tickets are rare but enable you to select any Special or Event Cookie, regardless of whether they are currently active in-game.
Typically, the themes that appear in the catalog alternate with the active Event Cookies. For instance, after around 20 days, a Christmas-themed set of Fortune Cookies may transform into a different theme in the Complete Cookie Catalog.
Keep in mind that when using Complete Tickets, you cannot buy cookies in bulk (e.g., 5-cookie sets).
Stamp Cards
Each fortune cookie consumed awards you with one stamp added to your Stamp Card, which can hold up to 10 stamps. Once this limit is reached, you will receive a new Stamp Card upon meeting the criteria. By selecting Stamp Trade, you can exchange a filled Stamp Card for an item from the current Event Cookies at no cost.
Bear in mind that the required number of Stamp Cards for item trade may vary—rarer furniture items could demand x5 or even x10 Stamp Cards. However, Stamp Cards cannot be used for trades in the Fortune Cookie Catalog; they are exclusively applicable to current event banners.
Understanding Fortune Cookie Rates
Bronze, Silver, and Gold
When selecting an Event Cookie, you’ll notice a rating system for prizes ranging from 3 to 5 stars (excluding the considerable offerings of Tommy/Timmy’s Fortune Cookie). Each cookie you consume returns a fortune bordered in bronze, silver, or gold. The Event Cookies showcase these designs alongside embroidery-like embellishments, with every Event/Special Cookie guaranteeing at least one 5-star furniture piece.
- Bronze = 3-star items
- Silver = 4-star items
- Gold = 5-star items
It’s important to note that duplicates cannot be avoided with either single fortune cookies or packs of five. Many players find they acquire several 3-star items before finally receiving a desirable 5-star furniture piece. The following outlines the Fortune Cookie Rates:
Fortune Type | Rate of Appearance |
---|---|
Bronze (2/3-star) | ≈ 13/14.01% |
Silver (4-star) | ≈ 6.8% |
Gold (5-star) | ≈ 2.6% |
