Recommended Decks

Gardevoir powering up Mewtwo-ex

With the Emblem Event coinciding closely with the release of the Mythical Island expansion, significant shifts in the deck META are unlikely. The current competitive landscape continues to be heavily influenced by decks featuring Pikachu ex and Mewtwo ex. If you possess these cards, they’re recommended choices for your lineup.

Interestingly, there has been an increasing trend towards utilizing Gyarados ex decks, particularly due to their compatibility with Vaporeon and Misty. For a more unique approach, consider integrating this deck into your strategy, complemented by Lapras and Supporter cards such as Leaf, Sabrina, and Giovanni.

Strategies and Tips

Mew in Pokémon TCG Pocket

To maximize your performance in this event, here are some essential strategies:

  • Leverage Mew ex in your deck. This card serves as a formidable counter to prevalent META decks, including Mewtwo ex. If it fits well in your overall strategy, make full use of Mew ex’s colorless mirroring ability, called Genome Hacking.
