Miyabi stands out as one of the limited Void Hunters in the dynamic realm of Zenless Zone Zero. Recognized as the youngest among her ranks, she commands the Hollow Special Operations Section 6. Initially, Soukaku was the sole agent from this faction available at ZZZ’s launch, but with subsequent updates, characters like Yanagi and Miyabi have joined the roster.
For players eager to optimize their performance using Miyabi on the battlefield, it’s essential to strategically pair her with a Support character or another member of her faction. Given the restricted pool of Section 6 characters, combining them effectively is vital to creating the optimal Miyabi team composition in ZZZ.
1 Miyabi + Yanagi + Soukaku
By forming a team with Miyabi, Yanagi, and Soukaku from Section 6, players unlock a potent combination that enhances her battlefield prowess. The synergy here revolves around the seamless rotation of skills between Miyabi and Yanagi, exploiting the Disorder mechanic to maximize damage output. Meanwhile, Soukaku plays a crucial role in boosting both Anomaly units, offering vital Ice DMG and Ice RES enhancements.
For effective energy management, it’s advisable for Yanagi to equip Energy Regen in lieu of her Anomaly Mastery on Drive Disc 6. This adjustment facilitates a fluid rotation, allowing her to consistently trigger Miyabi’s Basic Attack: Shimotsuki, especially when armed with six stacks of Fallen Frost that can deliver formidable damage.
To effectively stack Fallen Frost, initiate by applying Frostburn with Miyabi’s Ice attacks and utilize one of her EX Special Attacks to amass two Fallen Frost stacks. Quickly switch to Yanagi, who can execute two EX Special Attacks in succession, activating Disorder and granting Miyabi four additional Fallen Frost stacks. Subsequently, transition to Soukaku for a Quick Assist, further amplifying Miyabi’s ATK by up to 1000, enabling her to unleash a fully charged attack.
This particular assembly is hailed as one of Miyabi’s most effective teams, allowing for uninterrupted use of her fully stacked Basic Attack: Shimotsuki. While other Anomaly units may trigger Disorder, they lack the efficiency and synergy that Yanagi brings to the table in Zenless Zone Zero. Alternatively, players might consider replacing Soukaku with Caesar for enhanced survivability, as she provides additional team buffs and debuffs for further damage output.
Team Roles
- Miyabi: Main DPS
- Yanagi: Sub-DPS and Disorder trigger
- Soukaku: Support, buffer, and debuffer
2 Miyabi + Piper + Lucy
An intriguing option for free-to-play (F2P) players is to assemble a team comprising Miyabi, Piper, and Lucy, leveraging their existing synergies. Lucy, as a Support character, plays a significant role in activating Miyabi’s additional capabilities tied to her Basic Attack: Shimotsuki. The alignment of both Piper and Lucy within the same faction further enhances their combined effectiveness through their respective additional abilities.
In this F2P setup, Miyabi leans more on her intrinsic abilities to build her stacks. While Piper can initiate a quick Disorder, her capability does not measure up to the effectiveness of Yanagi paired with Miyabi. Whenever Disorder is triggered, Miyabi gains two stacks for her charged attack, leaving four stacks available for her EX Special Attack and Ultimate skills. Meanwhile, Lucy’s role as a Support buffer is critical in optimizing the performance of this F2P team in Zenless Zone Zero.
Players can explore various Anomaly and Support combinations for alternative team strategies, including pairings like Rina + Grace, Jane + Soukaku, and Burnice + Lucy, allowing for customization based on the available characters in their roster.
Team Roles
- Miyabi: Main DPS
- Piper: Sub-DPS and Disorder trigger
- Lucy: Support and buffer
