Mary and William eventually married, and she earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Life Chiropractic College. They established Chiropractic Family Care in Whitesboro, which flourished under their joint dedication. Together, they raised two daughters, Tamaryn Yoder and Liana Hegde, and one son, Adam Yoder. As a grandmother by 2015, Mary cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, seemingly enjoying a perfect life.

However, on July 20, 2015, what began as a common stomach ache escalated into a severe condition. Despite her hopes for a swift recovery, her symptoms deteriorated overnight. Concerned, her husband rushed her to the hospital, but tragically, Mary passed away on July 21, 2024, despite receiving medical attention.
