A Significant Revelation from Dennis’ Mother
Throughout the series, the results of Dennis’ CT scan remain undisclosed; however, the closing scenes suggest that he may not have been diagnosed with sarcoidosis after all. The primary concern originated from the fact that his father had passed away from the illness. Yet, in a surprising twist, Denise discloses that Dennis’ deceased husband was not actually his biological father, negating any hereditary risk associated with the disease.
In the finale of No Good Deed, we see a relieved and healthy Dennis, looking forward to beginning his life in Los Feliz—albeit not in the Morgan house. Genetics can play a role in sarcoidosis, but the condition can also manifest in individuals with no familial ties to it. Given that Dennis displayed no symptoms beyond elevated calcium levels, it seems unlikely that he would have faced a diagnosis. As the story concludes, it is evident that his worries about sarcoidosis were unfounded, aside from the revelation about his lineage.
