How to Create Genmoji on iPhone

Currently, Genmoji has not been officially rolled out along with the first wave of Apple Intelligence features. As of now, iPhone users cannot create Genmojis, but Apple plans to launch this feature later in 2024, possibly in December. According to a report by Mark Gurman, the release of the iOS 18 Genmoji functionality has been postponed.

While devices such as the iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, and newer models support iOS 18, not all of them are compatible with Apple Intelligence features. To take advantage of the iOS 18 Genmoji, you will need an iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, any iPhone 16 model, M-series iPad, or M-series Mac.

At present, only select Apple Intelligence features are available, including Writing Tools, the Summarize feature, and the Clean Up Tool. Apple mentioned that “some features, additional languages, and platforms”will be rolled out incrementally over the next year during the announcement of the Apple Intelligence release date at the iPhone 16 launch event.
