Patch 11.0.7 of World of Warcraft introduces the Prismatic Snapdragon, a vibrant new mount boasting eight unique color variations. Players can engage in the fun of collecting treats on Siren Isle, effectively transforming the Prismatic Snapdragon into eight different mounts through this exciting new feature.

Situated in the newly unveiled endgame zone, Siren Isle offers players a plethora of rewards, including a range of mounts. The Prismatic Snapdragon, a reptilian creature that resembles a dog and is often associated with the Naga, can be acquired by nurturing a stray over a period of ten days.

Colors of the Prismatic Snapdragon Mount

Once players have obtained the Prismatic Snapdragon, the fun doesn’t stop there. Collecting Snapdragon Treats scattered throughout Siren Isle allows players to unlock different colors for their mount. Excluding its default teal hue, the mount can be transformed into seven additional colors through drops from various sources, including monsters, treasure chests, quest rewards, and rare spawns. After discovering a specific treat, players can buy it again from Zexel Fingersnap at the Siren Isle base camp for five Flame-Blessed Iron.

How to Acquire the Prismatic Snapdragon Mount

  • Begin by accepting the quest titled A Lifeline from Zexel Fingersnap, a Goblin located on a barrel surrounded by five Snapdragons in the camp.

    • This quest becomes available only after completing the introductory quest chain for Siren Isle, culminating with Uncovered Mysteries.
    • Note that Zexel Fingersnap will not be visible during the stormy instance of Siren Isle.
  • Complete daily quests involving the Starving Snapdragon Runt over a span of ten days.

Color-changing mounts are a familiar concept in World of Warcraft. The Prismatic Starseeker, available via the cash shop, alternates between three colors, while the Trading Post mount Ash’adar, Harbinger of Dawn showcases different colors based on the time of day. The Wandering Ancient, a contest-winning mount from Shadowlands, also changes visuals seasonally. Players can find customizable mounts like the Dragonriding drakes and the Delver’s Dirigible, but none possess the unique mechanics of the Prismatic Snapdragon.

Beyond the Prismatic Snapdragon, players can acquire three additional mounts on Siren Isle. The Soweezi’s Vintage Waveshredder, a Goblin hoverboard, is purchasable for 10,000 Flame-Blessed Iron. Meanwhile, The Breaker’s Song, a majestic flying pirate ship, becomes available upon completing the Siren Isle meta achievement. Lastly, players can earn Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren—a coveted storm crow mount—by collecting five special keys, the fragments of which drop from various mobs, rare encounters, chests, and more.
