Anticipation for this sequel has been building since the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition was released, which included a new epilogue showcasing Thomas Elliot, also known as Hush, and his unexpected survival following the original arc’s conclusion. Another tease appeared at the end of Justice League Unlimited #1 in 2025, where Hush cryptically assembled paper doll representations of Gotham’s heroes and villains.
As major details remain closely guarded, fans must contain their anticipation to uncover Hush’s next moves. Nonetheless, DC is seizing this opportunity for celebration. Alongside an impressive array of variant covers for Batman #158, the entire DC lineup will feature special covers in homage to Hush 2. Notable titles such as Batman/Superman: World’s Finest, Catwoman, Detective Comics, Harley Quinn, and Superman will each debut individual Hush 2 variant covers crafted by talented artists including Mitch Gerads, Tyler Kirkham, Gleb Melnikov, and Giuseppe Camuncoli.
