VANNER’s Hyesung Released from Military Service Over Mental Health Issues
Hyesung, the lead vocalist of the South Korean boy band VANNER, has been officially discharged from his mandatory military service due to mental health concerns. This follows his recent hospitalization for further evaluation and treatment.

The 28-year-old singer had only been in military training for two weeks when he was admitted to the National Army Hospital located in Daejeon. Reports indicate that he was dealing with pre-existing conditions related to panic and mental health.

Kleb Entertainment, the agency representing Hyesung, made a public announcement on December 16th via VANNER’s official fan cafe. They confirmed that he is being discharged from service effective immediately.
“Two weeks after entering the training camp, Hyesung was admitted to the National Army Daejeon Hospital due to pre-existing panic and mental disorders,”the agency stated.
“Following a comprehensive medical examination, it was determined that he was unfit to continue normal military service and would require ongoing treatment. Consequently, he has been discharged.”

The agency expressed their regret over the concern this news may have caused among fans, stating, “We truly apologize for the anxiety our sudden announcement may have brought to fans.
