Orlando, the distinguished gentleman

The Stormy Welcome quest is critical for players to collect the necessary clues. As Diana, players awaken in a manor and encounter Orlando De Montoni, the central NPC for this mystery. Engaging in thorough dialogue with Orlando is essential, as the conversations may reveal valuable insights.

Once players exhaust all dialogue options with Orlando, they will witness a brief cutscene, leading them into the search for clues scattered throughout the manor. Utilizing the Chronolens will help locate the following three clues:

Upon gathering the necessary clues, players can engage Orlando one last time before exiting the manor. This moment marks their first glimpse of the town and introduces them to Paun, a potential ally throughout their adventures.

Navigating the town can feel daunting for newcomers due to the absence of a compass. However, the coastal landscape serves as a helpful reference point. To find the workshop adjacent to the pier, players should follow the left edge of the map down to the beach and then along the coastline to their destination. Along the journey, interactions with various NPCs will yield character and location cards, enriching the gameplay experience.

At the workshop, chatting with Chea is essential to furthering the Stormy Weather quest, ultimately leading to the task of delivering a respirator to Lexua.

Read it, the Grumpy Fisherman

Players will encounter the Grumpy Fisherman, known as Lexua, near the workshop. However, Diana finds Lexua intimidating and hesitates to approach. To assist in the conversation, players can locate yellow circle markers labeled Leads on the map. One particular Lead will direct players to Foto & Foto, where Paun works. Bringing Paun along can help Diana muster the courage to interact with Lexua.

In addition to pursuing the main quest, players can engage in activities with Paun, such as playing marbles at the beach or enjoying a cup of coffee. These leisure activities enhance the overall experience, allowing players to collect more cards while immersing themselves in the game’s vibrant world.

After successfully introducing Paun to Lexua, players should return to the workshop and engage in all dialogues with both Chea and Malagamba. Completing these interactions will unveil the final clue: Chea’s prototype.

Solving the Mystery: Order of Evidence

With the collected clues, players can utilize an intuitive card system to piece together the mystery. Players are encouraged to experiment with different combinations to discover the solution. The mystery includes two main objectives:

  • The thief thoroughly searches the villa.
  • Orlando witnesses the thief’s escape.

For the first mystery, only two approaches were available. In contrast, this mystery allows players to navigate the villa more freely, utilizing clues such as the chest card to determine the thief’s starting point. Players should be cautious to avoid triggering the red cracked board on the staircase, which alerts Orlando too early and creates a conflict represented by a red X.

To solve the mystery successfully, players should follow this order for placing the cards:

  • Books on the ground
  • Messy drawers
  • Open chest
  • Chea’s prototype

Upon solving the mystery, players must revisit the workshop and report their findings to Orlando. This pivotal moment progresses Diana’s journey toward establishing a new home.
