‘Voting for Kamala makes you less of a man’: Fox’s loudest commentator offers misguided lessons on masculinity, filled with Trump admiration

According to Greg Gutfeld, any man who casts his vote for Kamala Harris is not a “real man.” Gutfeld’s perspective suggests that true masculinity should inherently oppose Harris.

Harold Ford, a co-host on Gutfeld’s show The Five, argued that the forthcoming presidential election is poised to be highly competitive. He pointed out that Vice President Harris faces a significant hurdle with the African American male demographic. Ford posited that if Harris can secure the support of this crucial group, particularly in cities like Detroit, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, the election could lead to a nail-biting finish.

Gutfeld, however, rejected this notion, accusing Harris of perceiving men as merely a “faceless mass.” He critiqued her advertising campaigns, arguing that they do not represent what he calls “real men.” Gutfeld further asserted that Harris exploits men in a manner he claims echoes the Democratic Party’s treatment of black individuals and women.

Following his earlier comments, Gutfeld launched into a transphobic diatribe, contending that “no real man” could endorse the existence of transgender women. He alleged that sex offenders might purposefully alter their appearances to end up in women’s prisons. In addition to these unfounded claims, Gutfeld insinuated that the LGBTQ+ community aims to expose young children to inappropriate sexual content. Conclusively, he stated that these views represent what Kamala Harris stands for.

Not the Alpha Male Gutfeld Imagines Himself to Be

The critique of Harris hinges on the notion that she generalizes men as a homogenous group, while ironically, Gutfeld positions himself as an authority to define what constitutes a “real man” based on his personal biases. It is Gutfeld himself who fosters an “us versus them” mentality, presuming that all “real men” should share his transphobic beliefs.

Users on social media humorously took aim at Gutfeld, with some sarcastically labeling him a “beacon of masculinity.”

Others expressed skepticism about Gutfeld’s credibility regarding masculinity. One commenter quipped, “If I ever seek guidance on being a ‘real man,’ I won’t turn to Greg Gutfeld.” Clearly, Gutfeld has more pressing issues to address than dictating how other men should behave; perhaps he could start with improving his choice of polo shirts before weighing in on masculinity.
