Digital Extremes is set to release the highly anticipated free expansion for Warframe, titled Warframe: 1999, this Winter. Players eager to experience the new content won’t have to wait long, as a demo will be available starting October 16th. In this demo, players will take on the role of Arthur (voiced by Ben Starr) and navigate Höllvania on their Atomicycle.

Additionally, there will be a playable Extermination Mission where players will engage in combat against Scaldra. While further details about the demo’s content remain limited, developers have confirmed that players must complete the quests “Awakening” and “Vor’s Prize” to access the demo. Upon completion, participants will be rewarded with the Protokol Longsword Skin at no cost.

Warframe: 1999 represents the next major quest for this free-to-play action RPG, featuring the Protoframes who are on a quest to locate Dr. Entrati. This expansion will emphasize a more grounded combat experience compared to the original game. Concurrently, players will face challenges from the Technocyte Code, which connects to events from 1999, in their efforts to eradicate the virus known as On-Lyne.
