This summer tale features TJ (Finn Haney) embarking on a thrilling quest to reconnect with his estranged father, a rock star and ex-convict, in a classic 1968 convertible immediately after his 18th birthday. Having not seen his father since he was 10 years old, TJ sets off on an exhilarating 3,000-mile journey across the country with his best friend Jake (William Chris Sumpter). However, the adventure takes a turn when Jake abandons him mid-journey, forcing TJ to complete the trip with Maeve (Katherine Laheen), sharing his thoughts and feelings about what awaits him.
