In a bid to mock Kamala Harris, who reportedly worked at McDonald’s during the 1980s, Trump staged a photo opportunity at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, stepping into a wage-worker’s shoes. The internet reacted with equal parts humor and critique, with Yelp users giving Trump a roasting that outshined even the franchises’ famous fries. The View’s co-hosts, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines, joined in on the mockery, calling out Trump’s apparent disregard for wage increases for McDonald’s staff.
Whoopi Goldberg, on the other hand, expressed her annoyance over Trump’s decision to forgo a hairnet, unlike his fellow McDonald’s employees. “No hairnet? Really? I definitely don’t want your fries!” she exclaimed.

Her concerns are valid. Trump’s hair seems to have a life of its own, often battling against gusts of wind that pose a threat of it flying off his head. A sudden draft or the frustrated sighs of McDonald’s employees working alongside him could easily send his hair into the fryer. While it may appear golden brown at a glance, Whoopi clearly doesn’t want any of it mixed with her food.
