The God of War franchise has successfully entered the PC gaming market, thanks to Sony’s recent port releases on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The highly acclaimed God of War (2018) launched for PC in January 2022 and received positive feedback from players. Following Sony’s pattern of launching games as exclusives on PlayStation consoles before making them available on PC, the arrival of God of War Ragnarok on PC was anticipated.
