Wuthering Waves: Locating the Three Towers in Thorncrown for the Shadows of the Past Quest

In Wuthering Waves, players will have the opportunity to embark on an exciting journey through Thorncrown Rises, where they encounter Botim. Located south of the Rinascita-Ragunna-Thessaleo Fells northern Resonance Beacon, Botim shares the history of his family’s ancestral land and introduces players to a significant feature known as the “Terminal.”

Botim explains the towers are infested with shadowy creatures that wreak havoc before vanishing. In exchange for players taking on this challenge, he offers enticing rewards, kickstarting the Shadow of the Past Quest in Wuthering Waves.

Thorncrown Rises: Three Towers Locations

Within Thorncrown Rises, three towers await exploration, forming integral parts of the Shadow of the Past Quest, divided into the following sub-Quests:

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise – Located in the northeast.
Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise – Found in the southern section.
Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise – Situated in the southwest.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise

The Resounding Rise Tower resides to the northeast of Thorncrown Rises. To commence the sub-Quest, interact with Itzel located east of the tower. Inside the tower, players should:

Touch the painting at the end of the hallway to enter.
Follow the Quest marker to track the Abyssal Mercator.
Defeat the Abyssal Mercator and claim the northern Basic Supply chest.
Search the western room for another Supply chest.
Navigate to the eastern room and access the second painting.
Engage the Abyssal Mercator once more.
Defeat enemies in both eastern and western rooms for their respective Supply chests.
Head north and track the Abyssal Mercator to confront it again.
Touch the painting it leaves behind.
Open the chest at the end of the hallway to eliminate the shooting enemies.
Battle the Wuthering Waves enemy blocking progress.

Next, players will need to arrange the paintings correctly to complete the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise sub-Quest:

Move the top left painting to the bottom right display.
Hold the painting behind the top left display.
Place it in the bottom left display.
Shift the top right painting to the top left display.
Retrieve the painting behind the bottom right display.
Place it in the top right display.
Claim the Premium Supply chest.

Finally, players must touch the painting and confront the Abyssal Mercator one last time. Afterward, engage with Itzel to receive the Tidal Supply chest. This victory will weaken one of the barriers at Command Rise Tower.

Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise

Upon exiting the previous tower, venture southeast to locate the Twilight Rise Tower and converse with Insula to gain entry. As players delve into the tower, they will begin to realize they are caught in a loop until they receive guidance from Insula. Follow these steps:

Investigate the three designated spots for clues.
Engage in conversation with Insula.
Explore the secret passageway beneath the elevator.
Battle the Abyssal Patrick
Claim the Supply chest and continue following the path.
Face the Abyssal Patrick once more.
Return to converse with Insula again.
Collect the Tidal Supply chest in Wuthering Waves.

By completing these steps, players will finish the Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise Quest and weaken the second barrier at Command Rise Tower.

Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise

Upon successfully completing the initial quests, the Shadow of the Past: Command Rise Tower sub-Quest will automatically commence. Players should proceed as follows during this part of the mission:

Visit the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower and speak with Insula and Itzel.
Utilize the Wingray located northwest of the beach to travel to the Command Rise Tower.
Enter the tower and pursue the Quest markers deeper inside.
Retrieve the Supply chest situated to the west of the moving libraries.
Employ the Grapple to ascend further.
Collect a Basic Supply from among the jars and vanquish nearby enemies for another Supply chest.
Continue to follow the Quest marker towards the Abyssal Patricius.
Claim the chest and utilize the Grapple to explore higher levels.

As players navigate higher in the Command Rise Tower, it’s essential to use the Grapple to pull additional libraries into reach. Each level is filled with Supply chests and two Sonance Caskets: Ragunna. Thorough exploration will lead to rewards.

Ultimately, utilizing the chandelier mechanics, players can reach the top of the tower. Upon arrival, engage with Insula and Itzel after discovering Liel’s fate. Step through the portal behind them to arrive at the Abyssal Patricius lair. Defeating this enemy will grant the coveted Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest.

Finally, exiting the Command Rise Tower via the portal and conversing with your companions will yield the prestigious King of Thessaleo Achievement and the Shadow of the Tower Achievement in Wuthering Waves.
