Yung Bleu has joined the highly anticipated fourth season of Power Book II: Ghost, a popular spin-off from the original Power series, created by Courtney A. Kemp and executive produced by 50 Cent and others. The series made its debut on Starz on September 6, 2020. The fourth and final season is set to premiere in two parts, with part one airing on June 7, 2024, and part two on September 6, 2024.

“Tariq navigates his new life, where his aim to break free from his father’s legacy collides with the increasing pressure to protect his family; during this journey, Tariq becomes involved in the ruthless Tejada family affairs, complicating his attempts to juggle his drug operations, education, love life, and family obligations, all while facing escalating pressures.”

The synopsis further explains:

“He splits his time between attending school and hustling to finance his mother’s defense attorney; however, when options dwindle, Tariq finds himself returning to a familiar world of drug dealing.”

Yung Bleu made his debut as Stokely in the third episode of season 4, titled ‘Birthright’, which aired on June 21, 2024. His character follows a five-episode arc, concluding with episode 7 titled ‘I Can’t Fix This’, which will be released on September 13, 2024.

Much like Yung Bleu, Stokely is portrayed as a music artist who connects with Tariq through his club. However, problems arise regarding Tariq’s drug activities at the club. The tension gradually escalates, culminating in a passionate confrontation in the seventh episode of the season, which represents Stokely’s final appearance. This altercation is subsequently interrupted by Brayden Weston (Gianni Paolo).

Who is Yung Bleu?

Yung Bleu, born Jeremy Biddle on April 4, 1994, is an Alabama-born rapper and singer who has garnered mainstream popularity. His most recognized track is ‘You’re Mines Still’ from the EP Love Scars: The 5 Stages of Emotions, released in 2020. The song was later remixed by Drake and achieved a peak position of #18 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In addition to his role in Power Book II: Ghost, Yung Bleu has played Deshawn Jefferson in the 2024 film, Dead Money.
